The official Ohio University Bachelor of Science in Nursing pin is the common bond of present and future OU School of Nursing graduates. It measures approximately 1" in diameter and comes in a clear hinged box.

This gold plated pin features the seal of Ohio University in the center, sculpted beautifully in 3 dimensions. The inner ring is white enamel with the lettering "BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN NURSING" and the founding date "MCMLXXV" (1975). The outer ring features dark green enamel with a scalloped edge and the latin lettering "SIGILLUM UNIVERSITATIS OHIENSIS" (seal of Ohio University) and the university's founding date "MDCCCIV" (1804).
